A time when our men get together for breakfast starting at 8:00 am. and then a Devotional from the Word of God and a time of fellowship. Come and join us here @ NHA every second Saturday of the month!

Woman’s Care Center

 Our purpose is to support all women who are experiencing crisis in their lives weather the crisis is unwanted pregnancy or devastated and driven to despair by sexual sin. We want to teach God’s alternative plan to abortion by making every effort to present and lead people to the plan of salvation with acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. The center has information on a variety of subjects, including jobs, goverment subsidies and counseling. We give Free Pregnancy Test, Baby Clothes & Supplies to anyone in need.

We feed a hot meal in our kitchen once a week. Tuesday’s our cook Paula cooks a wonderful meal for anyone who is hungry. Then the word of God is preached, by Our anionted Pastor Edwin Suro, everyone is offered the opportunity to hear the Gospel.

My vision for the Lighthouse is that we not only feed the physical need, but the spiritual needs of the lost and needy. It is my vision that we have helpers so prayed up that if a person comes in and needs physical or spiritual healing that we can lay hands on them and pray and see God answer our prayers. They need to know someone cares, and loves them. When they come to you and tell you they love you, it melts your heart. So why can’t we show them the same love? That is part of what they need. I know some who come to us that aren’t really in need, but who are we to refuse them a cup of water or some food, or a kind word? Our main purpose on earth is to see God’s hand extended. We are to be servants of God. If we have gifts of love, giving, caring, mercy, kindness, God will show us the same. Los Angeles has their Dream Center, we can have our own in Jacksonville. People that have come to the Inner City Ministries & the Lighthouse have stated that they could feel the love of the people. So let us keep sharing as we are now. Lunch is served on Tuesday’s 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
